Pochettino on Son Heung-min experience: “Trust me, I’m working on it and I’m definitely improving”
Chelsea are looking to revitalize their underperforming players to get out of their slump. Mikhail Mkhitaryan, the Ukrainian Son Heung-min, is one of them.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano shared an interview with Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino on his Twitter account on Tuesday (July 2).
Pochettino said, “Believe me, Mudrikh is making a huge effort to get stronger and improve himself. He has a better understanding of what it means to play as a team. He’s young, he’ll definitely improve and I’m happy with the way he is.”
Chelsea beat off competition from Arsenal to sign Mourinho in January. They paid a record transfer fee of £89 million, including options.온라인바카라
Mourinho’s high price tag and expectations backfired on him at a young age. He finished with two assists in 15 league games. He hasn’t registered a goal or an assist in six games this season either.
Chelsea set out to save Mourinho. They’re trying to revive his goal-scoring touch with crossbar challenges. Even Pochettino is throwing his support behind him.
Pochettino was patient with Son Heung-min during his first season at Tottenham Hotspur and was instrumental in turning him into a Tottenham ace. It will be interesting to see if his experience can turn Mourinho into a Son Heung-min.
