‘No-medal’ men’s volleyball embarrassed by Bahrain…will play Thailand for 7th-10th place
Korean men’s volleyball has advanced to the 7th-10th place match at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games.
The Korean men’s volleyball team, led by head coach Lim Do-heon, defeated Bahrain 3-1 (25-19 25-21 19-25 25-23) in straight sets in the 7th-12th place tournament on Thursday at the Linping Sports Center Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China.
Lim Dong-hyuk (Korean Air) led the way with 12 points, while Na Kyung-bok (Ministry of Defense) and Jeon Kwang-in (Hyundai Capital) added 10 points each.
The men’s team advanced to the round of 12 after losing to India in the first round of group play and winning a close game against Cambodia in the second round, only to suffer a shutout loss to Pakistan. The loss to Pakistan ended South Korea’s 61-year wait for an Asian Games medal, but they bounced back with a win over Bahrain.메이저사이트
