English Professional Soccer Premier League (EPL) defender Aaron Wambisa has been sidelined for the foreseeable future due to injury.

The club announced today (Nov. 18) that Wambisaka sustained the injury in the previous match, a home game against Brighton & Hove Albion in the fifth round of the 2023-2024 EPL.바카라사이트

“Further assessment of the injury is required,” the club said, adding that “the length of his absence is likely to be several weeks.”

The club did not disclose the exact location of Wambiška’s injury, but sports outlet The Athletic reported that “Wambiška has injured his hamstring (muscle in the back of the thigh) and will be out for two months.”

Wambisaka came on for Lissandro Martinez in the 40th minute of United’s 1-3 loss to Brighton on Sunday.

The Red Devils have two wins and three losses in five EPL games this season, leaving them in 13th place with six points.

United is without midfielder Mason Mount and defenders Luke Shaw and Raphael Varane, who are all out with injuries.

Add to that the fact that Wan-Bissaka, who played just five minutes in the last game, will be out for several weeks, and manager Eric Tenhagh has an even bigger problem on his hands.

The Red Devils open their UEFA Champions League (UCL) group stage against Bayern Munich (Germany) on Nov. 21, before hosting Burnley on Nov. 24 in the EPL’s sixth round.
