KIA defeated Kiwoom 8-4 in a home game at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field yesterday (Nov. 17) behind a strong pitching performance from starter Thomas Pannoni and a Socrates firepower that pounded out three hits, including two home runs.

Notably, coming to bat in the eighth inning after being down three runs to Kiwoom’s Song Sung-moon, Socrates responded with a two-run homer to lead the comeback.

With the win, KIA moved up to fifth place.
