Al Ittihad target Benzema, then Salah…talks open with Liverpool

“Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad have now set their sights on Premier League star Mohamed Salah,” Spanish media outlet Fichajes reported on Saturday.

Salah is one of Liverpool’s most iconic players. Since joining the Reds from Roma in 2017, he has become one of the best players in the world, scoring 186 goals in 306 appearances.

Last season was no exception. Despite his team’s severe downturn, he scored 30 goals in 51 games across all competitions, showing off his rust-free, world-class form.

His consistent performances have also put him on the radar of Saudi Arabia. According to the report, Al-Ittihad have already opened talks with Liverpool to sign Salah this summer.
