8th KBO League Gwangju LG-KIA Rainy No-Game

The 2023 KBO had a rainy no-hitter. The game was played between the LG Twins and the KIA Tigers at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju on August 8.

The rain came in the bottom of the second inning when LG was leading 8-0. Heavy rain poured down and the umpires called a halt to the game at 7:14pm.

They waited 55 minutes, but the rain didn’t let up, and the tarped field was in poor condition. The umpires finally called the game a rainout at 8:09 p.m.

This is the sixth rainout since the start of the season. The two teams will make up the game at a later date. Adam Plutko started for LG and Yang Hyun-jong for KIA.스포츠토토

LG was in first place with 57 wins, two draws and 35 losses before the game, while KIA, which was on a three-game winning streak, was in sixth place with 44 wins, two draws and 43 losses.
